I was recently browsing the web for some recipes to try and cool down my hot dog. I came across www.mydogsbreakfast.com and found way more than what I was looking for its a great blog with tons of recipes for your four legged friends. After subscribing I received my first email blast that was a recipe for dog pupsicles. The recipe had simple ingredients and was easy to make.
Ingredients:
1 cup of plain yogurt
2 TBS peanut butter (preferably natural)
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup diced strawberries
Mix the peanut butter & yogurt together in a bowl. Then add in fruit ( for mine I did not have blueberries or strawberries so instead I used bananas & blackberries). In plastic cups you can add some extra berries to the bottom and then add the mixture into the cups and freeze. I had a little popsicle maker so I used that instead. Ice cube trays are also good to use for smaller dogs
.
Mine were not as perfect as the one’s Jen from www.mydogsbreakfest.com were but Chino loved them and even went cross eyed at one point eating them.
